(nerdy science verse)
Ribosomes and Ribozymes
The words get mixed up oftentimes
Do ribozymes have ribosomes
Inside in their tiny ribo-homes?
Or do ribosomes hold ribozymes?
I get confused. They almost rhyme
Oh wait. I think, without a doubt
That I have got it figured out
Because I’ve learned the suffix “zyme”
Is for catalysis every time
So then it follows ribosomes
Provide the ribozymes with thrones
And if no ribozymes performed
The peptide bonds would be unformed
So now that I have figured those
I’ll set my mind upon ribose
