In prose today that’s penned
By writers who compose it with
Exclamation points at the end
Those marks are for EXCLAIMING!
Not to say, “Laugh at my joke”
It’s kind of like using question marks
To indicate you spoke
So back off on those points, oh please
They don’t make you exciting
And focus more instead upon
The quality of your writing
