Forgotten Not Gone

Mr. Jones is not dead
Despite what
Earlier reports
Have said

The tales of his demise
Though clearly mis-stated

But his wife’s is a mystery
Despite their having
Decades of history

So he’s still alive, it’s true
And will go on
But the Mr. Jones that people knew
Is gone
