Guardin’ Eden

I love to walk most every day
Along the road down Campus Way

Out through the covered bridge I stroll
In wind and rain and fog and snow

The countryside. The gentle breeze
Herons, pastures, many trees

Hawks and kestrels in the skies
Summertime has butterflies

Joggers jog and bluebirds cheep
Dr. Stormshak tends his sheep

I love this place, it feeds my soul
The sky, the land, each rabbit hole

No nearby place, as I’m aware
Is more worthy of our care
