The “magic of Christmas”
In children’s eyes
And to me
It comes
As no surprise
Tell anyone
You’ll give them gifts
And you will recognize
Their look will change
Behavior too
When they fall for your guise
So hold off on the “magic” please
Tain’t the season or your savior
