Afternoon Musing

This isn’t a love poem
For they are too sappy
And it isn’t a serious one
Those are often crappy

It’s not an ode
Written in code
And tain’t clever prose
Cuz I cannot write those

It’s just scattered rhymes
At the ends of some lines
Some are funny, I am told
But none of them make me any gold
