April Double Acrostic

April, the beautiful face of spring
Produces relief from wintering
Rain to wash the yards and roads
In cloudbursts spilling
Loads and loads
(This is a double acrostic – the first letter of the first word of each line placed in order spells out ‘April’ and the first word of each line when assembled in order creates a phrase about April – “April produces rain in loads”)
