Now Daniel, though I know your name
I don’t know you, but just the same
I write for you this science verse
I hope that it is not the worst
We scientists have education
But also quite a reputation
Of being nerds, but that’s now cool
So you should work real hard in school

Resolve to work in this school year
To get a jump on your career
It’s better spending time with books
Than wasting time on how you look
Cuz looks will fade when you start aging
That’s hard to know with hormones raging
But trust me, I know of nature’s ways
So study science – get those A’s
