Computer Mating

The bride’s all in white
I’m having a cow
Cuz I’m struggling to write
My wedding vows

Seconds are ticking
Upon the clock
But my brain keeps sticking
With writer’s block

Though I haven’t got a clue
‘Bout the right things to say
High technology (whew!)
May save the day

Because recently I
Have come to rely
On a silicon friend
Generative AI

When glorious light
Through yonder window broke
The words weren’t mine
’Twas AI that spoke

And when on my knee
To her I proposed
The words weren’t by me
They were AI-composed

Yes, I am tongue-tied
As I wed my dear
But if I hadn’t AI’d
I wouldn’t be here

Now I gotta be coy
And not let it slip
That my feelings of joy
Came out of a chip

So my love has no clue
In her vows to me
That the one she has pledged to
Is ChatGPT
