Ho, Ho, Ho

I bought a book of recipeas

To broaden my cuisine

But every single dish that it had

Was colored very green

There were peas in pies and peas in stews
In pancakes, cakes, and teas

By page fourteen I realized

They’re recipes for peas

I eat way too much chlorophyll
Because of this new diet

And feel like I’m becoming 

The Jolly Green Giant
