Me and My Big Mouth

A thought waltzed right into my head
And pitched itself a tent
Accessing my subconscious
Absent my consent

Fragile like an egg it was
Simple and unhatched
Skewed in its perspective
Reality-detached

Aggressively it moved around
Until at last, Good Lord!
It overpowered all the nerves
Controlling vocal cords

’Twas due to this I blurted out
Some stupid things most blindly
So I’m begging for forgiveness now
If you would do so kindly
