In and Out

Two little ants
Named ‘Out’ and ‘In’
Caused their mother
Much chagrin

Out was often found within
But In was mostly out
So their mother asked Out
“Please go and scout”
“To bring In in”
“Instead of out”

So Out went looking
Everywhere
At the park
In the square

By the lake
Near the mill
But had no luck
That is until
He got wind of In
Upon a hill

With that, he brought
His brother home
Mom looked at In
Let out a moan

“How did you find
This little lout?”
She asked
Of older brother Out

Out looked at her
Then smiled and winked,
“In stinked”
