Lady Bug

A lady bugged a lady bug out sunning in the garden
When realizing what she’d done, she begged the insect’s pardon

“I’m sorry to be bothering you. Please do not take offense”
“But I have planned a party here and gone to great expense”

The lady bug packed up her things to seek another yard
A rather lengthy journey – for a lady bug, that’s hard!

The lady who was bugging her saw how she was imposing
And told the little lady bug, “Don’t worry, I’m supposing

“That it would be much easier for me to move than you”
“So I shall find another place to take my party to

The lady bug was happy then, she’d get to keep her castle
For the lady who’d been bugging her relieved a major hassle

Remember little lady bugs, when building subdivisions
And consequences unintended from all of your decisions
