“In growing season, spring to fall”
“I do not want my roses tall”
“I do not want them”
“Here at all”
A gardener, I am, yessiree
And just as proud as I can be
So, what, you wonder, is amiss
For me to state something like this?
It was last year that I, frustrated
Almost this exactly stated
And got, instead, a big surprise
Plants much higher than my eyes
These words are magical, I guess
And lead to gardening success
So this year for my garden needs
I say “roses” in place of last year’s “weeds”
