I created a story
Wrote it all on my own
Submitted it for publishing
It was time to be shown
The editor wrote back
Said they liked it a bit
But in spite of much promise
Rejected it
Puzzled, I asked
If she’d tell me why
The answer I got was
“Created by AI”
Which it wasn’t, of course
No one knew better than I
So why did they think this?
“We asked AI”
Wow. Isn’t it curious
That the tech they condemn
Is the same one making
Decisions for them?
