My throat is sore
And all the talk is
I am growing
Streptococcus

Tiny pathogenic
Bacteria
Growing deep in
My interia

They’re treating with
A drug exotic
Some kind of novel
Antibiotic

I hope it works
That is my wish
It’s no fun being
A Petri dish

But there’s an upside
Rest assured
Thanks to this bug
I’m now cultured
