I found a little kitty
It followed me one day
I had a lot of fun with it
I loved to watch it play
My laser light astounded it
A ball of yarn it chased
The world was one big mystery
That cat was so amazed
And all was well until today
While playing with some socks
The little kitty fell into
A rather largish box
That folded up and closed itself
The kitten deep inside
Perhaps it’s happy in the fact
It has a place to hide
Or maybe it has perished
Just one way to decide
