Recent financial setbacks hitting popular local newscaster, Leroy Camembert of KESF radio in Spider Falls, have shaken him to the bone. Reeling as a result of unexpected expenses earlier in the month arising from repair of his automobile’s clutch at Mel’s Muffler and Transmission Shop and a $212 speeding ticket, Camembert watched in horror as his checking account balance hovered near zero with a week left to go in the month. Fortunately, through careful planning of meals and a $20 loan from half-brother Tim, Mr. Camembert managed to avoid overdrawing his account and emerged scared, but unscarred from the near debt experience.
