(with help from Indira Rajagopal)
Mary Mary, it’s been so very
Wonderful to have you here
But now it’s also very scary
That you’re free to disappear
You deserve it though and we all know
The quality of your work
And your ability to maintain sanity
As everyone else goes berserk
You’re the very best we’d all attest
Since the day when you were hired
We’re also sure you’ll be the best
Of anyone retired
If you should find people still expect
You to deal with bees in their bonnets
Hand this to them and with all respect
Tell them to put a lid on it
