Goldfish

Goldfish circling in a bowl
Inside the only shape it knows
The world is blurry, where’er it goes

No words, no songs, no alphabet
It thinks that everything is wet

Does it have dreams and aspirations?
Another bowl? Long vacations?
Better food or situations?

I’m glad that I am not a fish
Where I could be a dinner dish
