Infinity

I started counting numbers
When it occurred to me
The counting coincided
With each one I did see

The first was one
And two the second
In my counting fun
Infinity surely beckoned

But one thing about infinity
Everyone should beware
Is you don’t know you’re in it before
You arrive there

And then there’s always one more
