Why?

I wonder about so many things
Like any curious soul
What is the tiniest spider?
How do rockets reach their goals?

So I ask a lot of questions
Like “how does a bumblebee fly?”
But questions leading nowhere fast
So often start with “Why?”

Why did someone drive recklessly?
Why isn’t a pigeon a hawk?
Why should two times three be six?
Why did we learn to talk?

Children ask these kinds of things

And thinkers, low and high

So pardon me for asking this

But why do you ask “Why?”
